Lush: Big Sea Salt Shampoo

Big Shampoo = £6.95
Big Conditioner = £5.95

This stuff looks pretty scary at a first glance. But I loved the idea of a sea salt shampoo, as I'm a massive fan of the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray, so I thought it was worth a try. It also smells amazing! I think that's probably the Lemon, Lime and Seaweed.

You don't need much to wash your hair with this product. And when it says "gently work into the hair" they mean gently. Don't do what I did and start scrubbing your head, you get nowhere and it feels weird. But massage it in. It lathers up more than I thought it would. I'll tell you now, it does feel weird using a shampoo with bits in, but they all rinse out easily enough.

I decided not to use my Redken Argon Oil after my shower as I wanted to see how soft it made my hair feel on it's own. It did OK, but it wasn't any better than any other shampoo I've used. This may be because I only had the shampoo and not the conditioner. But my hair was very shiny and was smelling divine, I probably looked like a weirdo as I kept sniffing my hair all day!

Having used this shampoo, it did make using a normal conditioner quite boring, so on Thursday I went back to Lush to look for conditioner to use with the shampoo and the lovely assistant told me about the Big Solid Conditioner, made to go with the shampoo. How could I say no? It smells just as amazing as the shampoo and I've never tried hard conditioner before. I had to try it!

Overall, I love this product and will by buying it again, but I would also like to try out Lush's other hair products. I already have a lot of volume in my hair, so I couldn't really notice a difference volume-wise, but it made my hair very shiny and I still can't get over how gorgeous it smells! I'm really looking forward to trying it with the conditioner as well!

Peace out! xxx
