Lush: Brazened Honey (Fresh Face Mask)

Brazened Honey = £7.25/75g

I love a good face mask. No pampering time is complete without one in my opinion. So it only seems right that my Lush adventure included a stop by the fresh face mask section.

Now in this section is a face mask that both smells and looks like chocolate, so much so that I was really having to hold myself back from eating it right there in the shop!

Anyway, I have a fairly new problem with my skin, in that it is now very oily. It used to be normal to dry, so I don't understand what's happened. My diet hasn't changed and my excercise started after the change occurred so it can't be that. I just don't understand. But as I do have that problem, I was obviously looking for a face mask that would help. In true Lush style, a very helpful assistant came to my aid and informed me that the lime juice in this would help with the oiliness. Having now tried this, she definitely knows her stuff.

When you put it on it feels a bit like a mud mask, which makes sense as it has a similar thick texture. The smell is, as usual from Lush, amazing. The almond and the ginger have a very warming, relaxing quality. My skin feels so soft and smooth when I take it off. I also love that you get several face masks out of one pot. After I've used the face mask, my skin lasts so much longer before turning oily again.

I will definitely be going back to repurchase this. I'm looking forward to trying some of the others as well (yes I'm thinking about the chocolate)! I can't wait until summer to be using these, as you store them in the fridge, so they'll be lovely and refreshing on a hot summers day.

If you've used any of the Lush Fresh Face Masks, let me know what you think and which were your favourites.
